Please read the short descriptions below and check any and all that you may be interested in! There are currently no dates or times set – these will be set by each group. While we expect these to be short-term (4-6 week) groups, you may decide you want to continue on!

Basketball on TV
Do you love basketball, but not the crowds? Why sit in a tiny, hard, plastic chair when you could be on the couch?! Groups will gather in each other’s homes or public venues to cheer on their favorite teams.

The Benchwarmers – A Youth Sport Cheering Section
Do you already support a child or grandchild playing school sports? Many of us do! This group will attend Middle and High School sports games to cheer on our favorite athletes.

Board, not Bored Game Group
Groups will gather in each other’s homes or public venues to play board, card, dice, or TTRP games. Don’t know what TTRPG stands for, but you like playing games, this is the group for you!

Crochet Away!

Grab your crochet hooks, knitting needles, and WIP for time with other craftsy people. Groups will meet at a public venue to work on their individual projects, admire each other's work, share tips, tricks, and ideas, and just talk about like in general. Knitters, Spinners, Embroiderers, Quilters, and Sewists are all welcome!

Food with Friends

Eat at restaurants every or every other week with the same group of new friends. Get to know each other a little better while enjoying good food!

Go Cats! UA Sports Fans

Go Cats! Do you love UofA Sports? Already have tickets? We’ll see you there! This group will look for each other at games for a quick check-in and chat. Group may decide to go out together after the game.

Hiking and Walking in Sabino Canyon

Carpool, caravan, or meet at Sabino Canyon for some time in nature. Groups will decide if they will walk the roadway, or hike the trails, or maybe do a little of both!

Meet me at the (Dog)Park

Bring your (well-behaved) best friend to the dog park for a little socializing for the both of you. Is your dog not well-behaved? Come without them to hang out with other dog lovers, and maybe pick up a training trick or two.

Pickleball!

Meet at the Pickleball Court in the north parking lot at Magee Campus for some friendly fun!

Silent Book Club

The book club designed for introverted bookworms! Groups will meet at a public venue without the expectation of idle chit chat. Say Hi if you are comfortable, or just find a place to sit and start reading your book. Read in companionable silence with likeminded readers. If someone else's book looks interesting, maybe ask them about it!
Please select all that apply.
